Sedation Dentistry

Based on your medical history and current medications, our dentists often recommend either oral conscious sedation or IV sedation for more involved procedures.
Oral conscious sedation is an oral medication taken before you arrive at our office. While you will be awake and will be able to respond to the dentist, you will also feel completely relaxed and be unaware of any pain.
We also are qualified to provide IV sedation, which often is appropriate for longer procedures. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can enhance the effects of either sedation method.
