Invisalign, an orthodontic treatment approved by the FDA, is the virtually invisible method to straighten your teeth without conventional metal braces. Kathy Frazar, DDS

While Dr. Frazar was always interested in the field of medicine,
she was drawn to dentistry because of its combination of science and artistry. After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, she began her practice in the Bellaire and West University area 20 years ago.

Dr. Frazar is dedicated to providing her patients with the best care that dentistry has to offer. She has attained the prestigious level of LVI graduate in cosmetics curriculum at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She has attained Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. Her dedication to pursuing the latest developments and technology in dentistry has earned her a Fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.

Dr. Frazar’s commitment to excellence has earned her praise. Both H magazine and Texas Monthly have named her as one of the top doctors in Houston year after year. Her dental expertise has been featured on CNN, ABC, NBC, and other media outlets. She has also been recently named Top Doctor for Women by H Magazine. She has also been featured as the doctor performing smile makeovers on the Deborah Duncan Show. She has been treating battered women in the Smile for Life program. She recently completed dental treatment on Carolyn Thomas. Carolyn was the faceless woman recently featured on Discovery Health Channel. She has also performed on Oprah and Discovery Health Series.

Dr. Frazar volunteers her time with the Girl Scouts, the Humane Society, the Delta Gamma Group, and other charitable organizations in the Houston area. Outside of her practice, she enjoys travel, working out and spending time with her daughter. She is also married to a Cosmetic dentist who practices in Cincinnati and Houston.

Thomas Hedge, DDS

General Dentist, Dr. Thomas Hedge was born in Mentor, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. He and his daughter Cecily now live in Cincinnati. Dr. Hedge attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio where he double majored in biology and chemistry. During his education at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry he conducted research resulting in the publication of seven abstracts and one paper and numerous awards at the state and national level.

Following his graduation from dental school he completed a general practice residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This advanced education included additional training in anesthesia, pediatrics, emergency medicine, geriatrics, Temporomandibular Joint Treatment (TMJ), endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthetics and implantology. And to the benefit of cosmetic dentistry, Ohio, Dr. Tom Hedge established the Dental Health Center in West Chester, Ohio, a Cincinnati suburb.

Since founding the center in 1988, Dr. Hedge has established a leading practice for cosmetic dentistry, Ohio. Dr. Hedge is nationally recognized not only for excellence in clinical programs, but for sound business practices that make full use of the newest technologies in dentistry. Dr. Hedge is an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute where he is a featured instructor and teaches dentists from all over the world on a monthly basis. He has participated in over 250 hours of continuing education per year over the last decade. Dr. Hedge is a frequent contributor to newsletters and magazines that promote professional development, including Dental Economics, Dentistry Today, The Profitable Dentist, Dental Products Reports, Contemporary Esthetics, and Dental Town Magazine. Kody - Business Administrator

Kody is the first smiling face that will greet you each time as you enter our dental home. After getting great care with Dr. Frazar as a patient, she decided to join our team in helping change others lives through their smiles! She is an integral part and we couldn’t do it without her. She previously studied at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) but decided to return to her native Houston, and is currently finishing her studies in History at the University of Houston. In the future, she plans to work on brightening the great minds of tomorrow through teaching. Her pastimes include spending time with her amazing family, friends, and precious puppy, Roscoe. She also recently got engaged to her longtime love, Geoff.

Jennifer - Patient Coordinator

Jennifer was born and raised in Pearland where she currently resides. She has been in the dental field since 2003. Jennifer enjoys working in Dr Frazar's office because of the soothing and calm atmosphere that is given not only to the patients but to the employees as well. She is currently a Captain on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has been a member for over 8 years. Her husband is a HFD paramedic and she has three handsome boys; Garrett, Gavin and Tyler.

Maria

Maria is an adoring mother to her daughter, Brianna , and a native of Baytown. Go Baytown Ganders! She has a broad knowledge in dentistry after practicing for the last 18 years as a clinical chairside assistant and administrative business professional. In the office, she will be your dental concierge helping you in any way needed to facilitate scheduling an appointment or explaining your necessary dental treatment. As an eloquent Spanish speaker, she is also able to assist our foreign patients who require translation. In her personal life she stays very active attending spinning classes and her daughter’s after-school activities that leave little time for much else. She has been an awesome addition to Dr. Frazar’s outstanding team!

Stefan

Stefan is originally an Idahoan but has been a Texan now for 11 years. She couldn’t have gotten here sooner! After completing her hygiene studies at Wharton Jr. College in 2001, she began her career as a hygienist and is now an indispensable member of the clinical team for Dr. Frazar. She provides excellent care for each of our patients and specializes in assisting patients who have severe gum disease and periodontal problems. Married to her college sweetheart, Chris, and a mother of three girls and one boy, she enjoys creating crafts, woodworking, and taking beautiful photos whenever there is extra time after attending school activities and extracurricular events.

Christine - Patient Care Coordinator

Christine is a Patient Care Coordinator for Dr. Frazar and Dr. Hedge.. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Texas since 2007. Christine attended the Hawaii School of Dental Arts and is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. A common theme you will find in Dr. Frazar's and Hedge's office is that all the Team Members are on a quest to know as much as they can about patient care and excellence in dentistry, and Christine is no exception.

Christine loves seeing the difference the Team makes in the lives of the patients of Aesthetic Dentistry of Houston everyday. She enjoys educating the patients as to the dental procedures they are having and to help the patients maintain their healthy, beautiful smile. Christine enjoys making the patients of the Practice feel at home and comfortable, of course, it also helps to have all the bells and whistles that can have anyone feel comfortable. She will tell you it is not uncommon for patients to feel so comfortable they fall asleep in the chair during their procedures.

Christine has a daughter, Kaylie, and she will tell you she is amazing and beautiful. Christine loves to work-out, cycle, and she loves horseback riding, but her favorite past time is spending time with her family.

Crystal - Patient Care Coordinator

Crystal is a Patient Care Coordinator for Dr. Frazar and Dr. Hedge. Crystal enjoys helping the patients of the Practice and helping them in their journey to a healthy, beautiful smile. Crystal finds her work very rewarding and it shows in her beautiful smile.

Crystal has been a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Texas, since 2006, and she is currently pursuing her Emergency Medical Technician certification. Crystal attended Blinn College in College Station.

Crystal comes from a large family with 6 brothers and sisters and their dog, Kaddie. She enjoys working out, boot camp and kickboxing. If you come from a family of 6 brothers and sisters, you learn how to hold your own. You would never know she could defend herself in a difficult situation, because she is a very sweet person with a great disposition.

Tasha - Treatment Coordinator

Tasha is the Treatment Coordinator Extraordinaire for Dr. Frazar and Dr. Hedge. She is very knowledgeable about dentistry, and you will not find a more compassionate and caring person. Part of being an excellent Treatment Coordinator is being a good listener. Tasha always listens to her patients, so she can help in the best possible way. Her focus is always to help the patients find the best course of treatment along with the Doctor's, so each patient can experience an amazing result.

Tasha chose her career in dentistry, because she loves helping people make life changing choices. She will tell you there is nothing more gratifying than seeing a patient's beautiful smile after they have completed their dentistry. Tasha loves that she is able to assist the patients in having their dream come to fruition.

Tasha has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health Care Administration, and she has been a Dental Assistant for over 8 years. Tasha is highly trained in Neuromuscular and Cosmetic Dentistry and she never turns down a continuing education course on these subjects.

Tasha is originally from New Mexico, but now calls Houston home along with her Chihuahua, Bambi. She enjoys jogging, cooking and of course, shopping.

Janie - Clinical and Patient Coordinator

Janie is Dr. Frazar's and Dr. Hedge's Clinical and Patient Coordinator. There will be no doubt in your mind when you meet Janie that she loves dentistry. She is always bubbling over with enthusiasm.

Janie is Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Texas. She has also been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005. Janie has her Associates of Science Degree and she is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.

Janie chose dentistry because she loves seeing patient's expressions after a cosmetic dental procedure. T see a patient's beautiful smile from something that was so embarrassing to the patient that they would not smile at all or they would cover their mouths, is something truly unexplainable. Making a difference in such a small, but yet a huge way is why she loves her job!

Janie, as she explains, has an amazing, smart and loving brother, who attends culinary school. This is why Janie loves working out and staying fit. Can you imagine having a family member as a Chef? Janie loves running outside. Just being outdoors and enjoying nature is one of her favorite things. Janie's favorite past time is spending time with her family and doing makeovers on family and friends.

Janie has been a welcomed addition to the Team. She is smart, caring and is always in the pursuit of excellence.
